Horsemanship Merit Badge - Boy Scouts

This program is designed for seniors, ambassadors, and Boy Scouts who are passionate about horseback riding. With 60-minute classes and 4-10 lessons, participants will dive into the world of horsemanship and gain a comprehensive understanding of all things related to horseback riding. From safety precautions to horse breeds, colors, and history, participants will learn about the different aspects of horsemanship in a fun and engaging environment. 

With hands-on grooming, feeding, and equipment demonstrations, they'll have the opportunity to put their knowledge into practice.Each class will culminate in a riding lesson, where participants will get the chance to put their horsemanship skills to the test. With homework assignments and personalized coaching, participants will be able to track their progress and gain the skills they need to earn their Horsemanship Merit Badge.
